Chin correction

A chin that matches the rest of the face carries the profile. A small chin makes the nose look larger than it is; a chin that is too prominent lengthens the face.

The cause often lies in the lower jawbone, which has developed either too little or too much. The correction brings the chin into proportion with the face, as an augmentation or as a reduction.
